Oh, my. Work. Work. Work. Wait...I don't actually work at work, so I guess it isn't really work. Ok, that was a lot of work for one sentence. Well, its true though. I've done probably 2 hours worth of work (which, by the way, is pushing it) and I've been here since 9AM. CRAP.
But, I did manage to eat lunch with my father, which was good. And had the biggest ice cream cone of my life from Dairy Queen. And, I didn't even have the biggest one you can have. Oh, man...did I ever mention I was SLIGHTLY lactose intolerant. Yeah, well. Ice cream is amazing, I don't care.
AND. Kelsi visited me at work. :) It was nice, I got to talk to her for a few minutes outside. This was, of course, after I got her lost several times on getting over here first. Oops. Well, now she knows how to get here, if she ever needs to come again!
Tonight: we're going out to eat. Because, well, we need to spend time together out in the real world. :) And. After dinner, we've decided we're going to walk off dinner. Which is also a plus. I definitely need to start exercising more, no weight can be dropped if I don't work out/eat better. And, since, it was my goal to lose weight this summer. Exercise: here I come!
I'm reading an amazing book. Michael Crichton's NEXT. Kelsi gave it to me to read. Because she knew I'd like it, it's all science nerd status. :) I've decided I need to read more of his books, especially Jurassic Park. I bet that book is amazing. Science + dinosaurs in the same book? I'm pretty sure it couldn't get much better for me. ha. Oh, did I mention I'm also reading Kite Runner, and Men Are From Mars, Women Are From Venus? Ok, I know what you're thinking, Lindsey...you're dating a girl. Regardless, Kelsi is a Martian and I am a Venusian. Promise. And, regardless. It's an AMAZING book, seriously, everyone should read it.
What else? Ah, yes. This weekend is Second Saturday. And Mumsie is doing one of my favorite types of shows: the summer shows outside in the alleys/parking lots! I can't wait! I love Second Saturday, but nothing beats it when its in the summer time!!
Alright. Well, I guess that's it for now. I have exactly 48 minutes left of work, according to my computer clock, and I'll be daydreaming of the dinner and walk I have to look forward to, and reading Michael Crichton. :)
